MAY all your dreams come true...

...well, the good ones, anyway.

It sounds like the weather is going to give us a break any day now. Monday night golf started out beautifully for the first time in a long time, but week number 2 was brutal. BRUTAL. It worked out nicely for the new clothing items in the pro shop, however. I think Barb sold 4 or 5 windbreakers just while I was standing there.

Speaking of the pro shop merchandise, the marketing committee has done a superb job! Please remember that we are still working with a limited amount of space, but if you see someone wearing something you like and you can't find one in the pro shop, we can most likely get one in for you within a couple of weeks.

The patio looks tremendous. Be sure and thank Dee for the new furniture. It really looks nice, and is quite comfortable. I know, I've used it a lot already!

I'd like to thank Larry Gaus, Kirk Harris, Dale Caylor and anyone else who helped unearth the Rules sign by the clubhouse on clean-up day. I know there were at least a couple others who helped with it, but I inherited my mother's memory, I think. So, thank you unnamed soldiers anyway. Steve Miller, Steve Booth, Chigg Johnson and I got the sign planted in its new location, just before the causeway. If anyone misses it now, it's because they WANTED to...

The Spring Calcutta is just around the corner, and it looks like we're going to make the 4-person team mark. If you haven't signed up already, what are you waiting for???

The course is absolutely beautiful. Larry Padget and Jim Thomas are doing a fantastic job, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind hearing about it. I tell 'em every chance I get. I'm sure it's been quite hectic for Larry the past month or so: Triplets (Congrats 3 times over Larry and Joy!), Keeley going on the DL, etc. Thanks to all who have lent a hand out on the course.
