Sometimes I don't know where I am, where I'll be...feels like I'm so far, far away, far away from home.
It's about time for another "Random Thoughts" edition:
It's not too early to pencil in the Spring Clean-up date on your calendar. We're all set for April 1st (this is not an April Fool's joke, either). We can't possibly have too many people, nor can we possibly have any LESS people than we had last year. We can even celebrate a certain 15-year anniversary (I bowled a perfect 300 game April 1, 1991)!
Just in case I haven't alienated EVERYONE by being a Florida Gator fan, you should probably all know that I'm a die-hard Pittsburgh Steeler fan as well. At least I'm not alone on this one...Gaus, you'll have to get past Smithburg first this time!
The weather has been nice enough to only allow my mother a couple of opportunities to call from South Padre and gloat.
The golf calendar should be out this month. There's still time to join the golf committee if you are interested!
Let's all try and keep Barb calm during NASCAR season. She gets so excited about it sometimes.
The pitch tournament is on the horizon. Rumor has it, the defending champion has been running his mouth...
It sounds like the "31" tournament was a success...I wish I could have been there.
There's no time like the present to get your Monday Night Golf team lined up. John Payne will be taking over the administrative duties for Bear this year. I'll continue to do the grunt work, of course!
Did I mention the Steelers are in the Super Bowl? Come on, folks...black and gold! You can wear your Hawkeye stuff while you're rooting for them, I don't care!
