Notes From The Bridge...
GOLF
Our golf tourney season wraps up this month with a new tourney and an old favorite. The first Ball Hogg open will be held 10/4, tee time 9 a.m. It’s a 3 person best shot and entry fee is $20 per person. The 2nd nine holes will be played from the red tees. Our annual Chili open is 10/11, tee time 10 a.m. It’s a 4 person best shot with soup included after golf. The entry fee is $15 per person. Ed Hipp will offer a free golf clinic 10/10 at 10 a.m. Ed is a great teacher of the game. Anybody needing help with their game should plan to attend regardless of your skill level.
Cart shed rent is now due and overdue 11/1 with a $5 per month penalty incurred thereafter.
CLUBHOUSE
Our annual meeting will be held 10/25. We’ll have soup at 5 p.m. and our meeting at 6 p.m. There are 2 board spots that will be filled. People-this is your open forum for the year! Show up-voice your concerns and vote for our new board members. It’s YOUR club-get involved!
We will close the kitchen for deep cleaning and vacation the week of 10/26!
SOCIAL
The social girls are planning a Halloween party 10/31. There will be a band, prizes, and a buffet dinner. Additional details will be available soon. We are still tail gating for away Hawkeye games. There’s a fish fry planned for 10/17. Bring a game day snack and join the fun.
