Welcome to 2010...
On the back of this month’s notes and on our website, you will find this year’s dues schedule. Social dues are due in January and golf dues are still discounted for payments made by Jan. 31. If you plan on using one of our split payment plans, your first payment is also due by the end of the month.
SOCIAL/KITCHEN
The social girls have put together a great month of activities to help fight the winter time blues. We kick it off ( sorry-bad pun which only Terry Baptie will enjoy ) with an ORANGE BOWL PARTY with the Hawks Jan. 5. Bring your favorite football snack. We’ll have a pool and some drink specials. Game time is 7 pm.-GO HAWKS!
Editors Note: While the Club will be closed on New Year's Day, feel free to raise a glass for the Gators during the Sugar Bowl at 7:30PM.
Jan. 10 we are going to have FAMILY GAME DAY featuring a Wii golf tourney and Rock Band. Chilidogs will be served for lunch.
Jan. 17 we are bringing back GUEST CHEF SUNDAYS and we are also having a 31 TOURNEY at 1:30 p.m.
Jan. 24 we are bringing back our old buddy the CHILI COOK-OFF plus a PITCH TOURNEY. Details for all these events will be posted in the clubhouse as we progress thru the month!
Look for the SUPERBOWLING sign-up sheet in the middle of the month! Super Bowl Sunday is Feb. 7.
We are going to adjust our kitchen hours for winter. We will open at 5:30 p.m. Wed.-Sat. and close at 8:30 pm.-except when busy enough to stay later. Please call if coming after 8. Lunch hours will remain 11:30 - 1:30 Wednesday through Saturday.

Notes From The Bridge...
There will be a social committee meeting 12/8 at 6 p.m. Anybody interested in joining and helping with our upcoming social events, please plan to attend.
The women’s Christmas Staggette is scheduled for 12/9 at 7 p.m. with happy hour prior. Make reservations with the bartender on duty. Cost of the meal is $10.50 and you should bring a “white elephant” gift to exchange. Contact Linda Keeley for additional details.
Our annual kid’s Christmas party is 12/13 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Sommer has promised fun, games, snacks, and a visit from the jolly old elf himself!
This year’s Christmas schedule reads like this- open for lunch 12/24- the bar will close at 5 p.m. We will be closed Christmas Day.
The party is on for New Years Eve! We will have a band and the kitchen will be open. We will, like last year, run just a buffet for dinner.
We will of course go bowling with the Hawkeyes! At this point we’re not sure when they play. We will be closed New Years Day unless they are playing.
Thanks social girls for a well run Halloween party in my absence. The costume winners were Matt Weber, Mr/Mrs Arden Messer, and Doug Fluornoy.
We do have new pro shop apparel on display and are taking orders. If you have any questions about the clothing-please check with Desiree or myself.
ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD AND STAFF I WOULD LIKE TO WISH EVERYBODY A SAFE AND HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON!
