July - Welcome New Members!!!
Golf
It looks like our golf course has survived the June monsoon season so now we will use it!
Sign up now for potluck golf on the 4th of July. Tee time is 11:00 A.M. and the cost is $10 per person. We play a 4-person best shot then barbeque when we are finished. You bring the sides and Walton provides the burgers and brats.
July 10 is the Brian Best Memorial Tourney. It’s a 4-person best shot, tee time is 9:30 A.M. and the cost is $120 per team. The kitchen will be closed this day during lunch! Please plan to participate-I am.
July 18 we have a 4-couple best shot. The tee time is 10 A.M. and the cost is $30 per couple. Sign up your 8 person team now.
We are hosting a Farm Bureau golf outing and lunch July 24. They have a best shot outing in the morning followed by lunch.
There will be a city golf tournament 7/23-7/25. The details are still being fine tuned. Check the pro shop for details soon.
THE GOLF COURSE IS CLOSED DURING THESE EVENTS!
RANTS
All play should begin at #1 tee box.
Slower groups of any size please let players behind you play through-we need to create better flow on crowded days. There are some days when the course is crowded that it’s going to be slow-don’t start jumping around to find open holes.
All ropes are put up for a reason. Anybody caught driving through a roped off area will be disciplined by the board.
Please fix your ball marks.
Thanks this month to the flower box girls-the course looks great again! Also our continued thanks to John & Melva Dahl for their landscaping around the clubhouse. Big thanks to Jim Gray for cooking the catfish for our men’s league feed.
